Welcome! My name is Ria and I am the creator and owner of Mis Mundos. I was born and raised in Greece in a home full of art and craft. Growing up I moved to the UK where I completed my BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

Later on, my love for antique silver jewelry and arts led me to studying silversmithing. This way I was introduced to this magnificent new art that became a passion for me.

Through my initial studies I learned how to make this passion into a business and share it with people from different parts of the world and along the way I realized the importance of working on something I truly love.

In 2012 I created Mis Mundos, which means “my worlds” and started working internationally with thousands of wonderful customers. Since then all my pieces are exclusively custom made for each customer.

I have always been attracted to silver as it’s a noble metal than can be given a variety of forms and hues, from the brightest light to the darkest grey. So it’s the metal I work with and often I combine it with a touch of gold for more dimension and contrast.

When I first started working, I was fascinated by the Wabi Sabi philosophy, which embraces the beauty of imperfection. So my work was greatly inpired by nature, raw textures and eventually by antique easthetics and historical jewelry too. The botanical parts of my jewelry, are made of real twigs and leaves that I collect and then I cast into solid silver by using the ancient technique of Lost Wax Casting.

Work Process

My studio is located in Piraeus, the port city of Athens, where I create jewelry and work with ethically sourced and recycled 999 pure silver, 925 sterling silver, 14K & 18k gold, raw diamonds and gemstones. I maintain a sustainable making process and since I love traditional silversmithing techniques, I work with hand tools, natural liquid solutions and patinas instead of harsh chemicals. The diamonds I use are conflict free and sourced from reliable sources which comply with the Kimberley Process Certification.

Each piece is handcrafted with extra care for each customer after their order and this makes it unique for its owner.
