Description

This etherial twig raw diamond ring is made of a real twig that has been casted into sterling silver by using the lost wax technique, a traditional and one of the oldest techniques for casting jewelry. A feminine, elvish ring, ideal as a gift to yourself, to someone special or as a unique engagement ring.

The diamond measures approximmately 5mm, is raw has been set into a silver bezel. All diamonds in my shop are conflict free and ethical and sourced from reliable sources which comply with the Kimberley Process Certification.

This is a custom made piece just for you, each diamond is unique and raw so the stone will be a similar one to the picture but not identical. This is the nature of custom made, handmade items and their uniqueness and that’s why we love them!

DIAMOND SYMBOLISM

In 327 BC, Alexander the Great, who was the king of Macedon, brought the first diamonds from India to Europe. However the first diamond ring ever recorded was presented to Mary of Burgundy when Archduke Maximilian of Austria proposed in 1477.

Diamonds were always believed to have healing and protective properties and have been known since antiquity as “Stones of Invincibility,” bringing victory, strength and courage to its wearer.

A diamond is a symbol of purity and innocence, of love and fidelity. Encourages the aspect of truth and trust. In antiquity it was regarded a love bearing crystal when received as a gift.
