Goddess Athena Coin Pendant

Description

This 925 sterling silver Athena goddess pendant is a museum replica of a Thurian silver coin that was made around 446 BCE. It’s a double sided pendant and the reverse side is upside down, like most coins of the era.
This pendant has been made by using the ancient Lost Wax Technique, one of the oldest techniques of silversmithing and it’s 925 solid sterling silver with a sterling silver chain.

Athena was the goddess of wisdom and warfare. The coin depicts her portrait wearing an Attic helmet that was used during the times of Classical Greece.

♦ You can chose between a wax cord or a 925 sterling silver chain for your pendant. A unique, ethereal piece of jewelry that will add character to any look and is ideal as a gift to yourself or to someone special.

The coin has approximately a diameter of 18mm.

We make all our pieces in our studio by hand, using only traditional silversmithing techniques and instead of harsh chemicals we use only organic solutions.
