Description
This 925 sterling silver Athena goddess ring is a museum replica of a Thurian silver coin that was made around 446 BCE. The coin is double sided and the reverse side is upside down, like most coins of the era.
The ring has been made by using the ancient Lost Wax Technique, one of the oldest techniques of silversmithing and it’s 92.5 solid sterling silver.
♦♦♦ Athena was the goddess of wisdom and warfare. The coin depicts her portrait wearing an Attic helmet that was used during the times of Classical Greece.♦♦♦
The coin has a diameter of approximately 18mm.
