Florian Diamond Ring

Description

The Florian raw diamond ring is made of 925 sterling silver that we cast by using the ancient Lost Wax Technique. It has a black raw diamond in a silver bezel and a dark patina which gives the ring its beautiful antique look. A distinctive ring that is comfortable to wear and can be combined with the Florian bands too. A beautiful gift to yourself, to someone special or a unique engagement / wedding ring.

All our rings are custom made just for you and each diamond is unique and raw so the stone will be a similar one to the picture but not identical. This is the nature of custom made, handmade items and their uniqueness and that’s why we love them!

DIMENSIONS

The diamond measures approximately 4 to 5 mm and is approximately 0.8 carat. All the diamonds in my shop are conflict free, ethical and sourced from reliable sources which comply with the Kimberley Process Certification.

The silver band has a thickness of approximately 1mm and is 3mm wide.

DIAMOND SYMBOLISM

In 327 BC, Alexander the Great, who was the king of Macedon, brought the first diamonds from India to Europe. However the first diamond ring ever recorded was presented to Mary of Burgundy when Archduke Maximilian of Austria proposed in 1477.

Diamonds were always believed to have healing and protective properties and have been known since antiquity as “Stones of Invincibility,” bringing victory, strength and courage to its wearer.

A diamond is a symbol of purity and innocence, of love and fidelity. Encourages the aspect of truth and trust. In antiquity it was regarded a love bearing crystal when received as a gift.

We make all our jewelry in our studio by hand, using only traditional silversmith techniques and no chemicals.
